For decades, Dr. Shumsky has been a researcher and clinician in cognitive issues. He brings a record of expertise that has been profiled in national media outlets such as The New York Times, Money Magazine, and ABC News. For each tutoring client with a diagnosed or suspected learning or attention disorder, Dr. Shumsky completes an initial evaluation to establish the parameters of the student’s tutoring program. Following the intial evaluation, Dr. Shumsky meets regularly with the tutor to fine tune the student program and remain up-to-date on student progress and possible challenges.
